The Hoops Family Children's Hospital is a member of the Children's Hospital Association and includes:

  • a 36-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • a 25-bed General Pediatrics Unit
  • a 10-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • ancillary & support services

The facility is currently undergoing a $12 million renovation project. The Hoops Family Children's Hospital is supported by Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine pediatricians and pediatric sub-specialists in neurosurgery, general surgery, neurology, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, cardiology, pediatric oncology and others.

We share our campus with the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center and the administrative offices and clinical practice center for Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Off-campus facilities include an urgent care center, four family medical centers, a pain management center, a wound care center and a surgery center.
