Hoops Family Children's Hospital is a member of Marshall Health Network, Inc., a West Virginia-based not-for-profit academic health system that includes Cabell Huntington Hospital, Edwards Cancer Institute, HIMG, the Marshall Health physician practice, St. Mary’s Medical Center and Rivers Health. We are committed to improving the health and well-being of over one million children and adults in 40 counties throughout West Virginia, southern Ohio and eastern Kentucky through understanding, respecting and meeting their needs.
Why the Huntington Tri-State area?
Located along the Ohio River, Huntington, West Virginia, and its neighboring cities are home to several downtowns that are just as warm and welcoming as the people there. Known locally as the Tri-State, the area encompasses five counties and three states, including Boyd and Greenup counties in Kentucky, Lawrence County in Ohio, and Cabell and Wayne counties in West Virginia. The Tri-State is working on rebranding itself to highlight and enhance its lesser-known features, such as its abundance of outdoor activities as well as local theaters, museums and shops.
