The Hoops Family Children's Hospital is a member of the Children's Hospital Association and includes:

  • a 36-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit featuring 20 private rooms and eight semi-private rooms for multiple births
  • a 25-bed  Pediatric Medical/Surgical Unit with all private rooms
  • a 10-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • ancillary & support services

The Hoops Family Children’s Hospital is supported by Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine pediatricians and pediatric sub-specialists including:

We share our campus with the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center and the administrative offices and clinical practice center for Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Off-campus facilities include an urgent care center, four family medical centers, a pain management center, a wound care center and a surgery center.
