Carleigh Cazad, BM, MT-BC

Child Life Coordinator & Board-Certified Music Therapist

Carleigh has a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Her music therapy internship was completed at the University of Louisvilleā€™s Music Therapy Clinic. Carleigh enjoys serving at her church and spending time with her friends and family. Carleigh has worked with several different populations during her time as a music therapist including geriatric, behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, pediatric medical, and addiction recovery. Her favorite part about being a board-certified music therapist is giving a voice to children through music and providing an outlet for expression during a time that can often be overwhelming for children and their families.

Stephanie Cape, BA, CCLS

Child Life Specialist - Inpatient

Meet Stephanie. Stephanie has a B.A. in Family Community Services with a focus on Youth and Family from Michigan State University and has been working as a Certified Child Life Specialist for more than a decade. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys doing puzzles and playing with her cats and dogs. Stephanie has worked at HFCH since 2015 and is excited to be part of the expansion of supportive programs for the kids in our community.

Jenny Yuhnke, BS, CCLS

Child Life Specialist - Emergency Department

Jenny has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology - Child Life from Utica University in New York. Her child life internship was completed at Hoops Family Children's Hospital. Jenny uses creativity and individualized interventions to meet the many needs of patients and families during hospitalization. Her favorite part about being a Certified Child Life Specialist is guiding patients through stressful situations and helping kids become strong and brave while overcoming their challenges. When she's not busy changing patients' lives for the better, Jenny enjoys hiking, boating, sports and other outdoor activities.
