Proceeds benefit Hoops Family Children’s Hospital
The “Tri-State Artisans Celebration: Wild and Wonderful” Soiree and Live Auction is fast approaching, and tickets are still available for this highly-anticipated event benefiting Hoops Family Children’s Hospital, a member of Marshall Health Network.
The event will take place Saturday, October 19th, at 6 p.m. at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds in Proctorville, Ohio. The evening will feature a silent auction and a live auction of unique sculptures crafted by local artisans, with all proceeds going toward state-of-the-art medical equipment for the treatment of infants, children and young adults at the children’s hospital.
“A total of 44 sculptures will be up for grabs with starting bids beginning at $100,” said Bradley Burck, vice president of the MHN Foundations. “Many sculptures have already received bids online, so we encourage community members to attend our Soiree and Live Auction event to secure their favorite pieces. This auction is a wonderful opportunity to own a piece of local art while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children.”
Online bidding is already open at www.artisanswv.com. Interested bidders can visit the website or scan the QR code located on the base of each sculpture to view the current bids. The highest online bids will serve as the starting price for the live auction.
