Dr. Kevin Yingling, CEO of Marshall Health Network, has been named a recipient of the Most Valuable Player Award for 2023 by the American Hospital Association Political Action Committee (AHAPAC).
The AHAPAC Most Valuable Player Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate the importance of a strong PAC by leading efforts to build robust support within their organizations and enhancing relationships with legislators.
“The honor of the AHAPAC Most Valuable Player Award truly reflects the collective efforts of our entire team and our commitment to advancing health and inspiring hope for all we serve,” said Yingling. “Together, we will continue to work toward making a positive impact in our region.”
This award recognizes Dr. Yingling’s exceptional contributions and leadership in surpassing Hospital Political Action Committee (HOSPAC) goals as a hospital CEO and his significant support of AHAPAC. Each year, only two individuals in the state are honored with this award. Alongside Dr. Yingling, Dr. David Hess of WVU Medicine’s United Hospital Center also received this accolade.
“We are proud to see Dr. Yingling's dedication and hard work recognized at a national level,” said Jim Kaufman, president and CEO of the West Virginia Hospital Association. “His commitment to advancing health care advocacy through both HOSPAC and AHAPAC exemplifies the leadership we need in our health care community.”
